An awareness seminar was held at Riphah Institute of Media Sciences to sensitize the students about harmful effects of drugs. Karim Khan Afridi Welfare Foundation Chairperson Cristina Sperling, President National Youth Assembly Hannan Afridi and Prof Dr Raiz Adil addressed the seminar. The speakers expressed concerns over growing drug addiction among the students and said that the trend can be countered by making students cognizant of the harmful effects of the drugs, especially ice. They said it is the duty of the parents and teachers to keep an eye on the activities of their kids and students. They further said the students should be involved in healthy activities like sports to divert their attention as well as keep them healthy.
